The Family Resource Center at the United Way of Blair County continues to serve as an Information and Referral site, with approximately 120 yearly recorded requests from community members for assistance. The majority of those whom we were able to reach rated the information we originally gave them as "Very Helpful."

We maintain a comprehensive supply of informational materials in our lobby for public use and distribute a newsletter in which we provide useful information about parenting and highlight our own and other agencies' events of interest to Blair County families.

Educational radio ads throughout Blair County provide educational parenting tips to thousands of listeners. Our newest resource tool is the Family Resource Center's Web Site which offers additional links to community resources.
